These Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms of Use") apply to the EVRide Tasmania (ABN 19 876 914 141) website located at evride.au and evride.com.au (the “Website") and all associated websites linked to the Website.

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use.

2) Amendments of Terms

We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms regularly prior to using the Website to ensure you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

3) Limitation of Liability

It is an essential pre-condition to you using the Website that you agree and accept that EVRide Tasmania is not legally responsible for any loss or damage you might suffer related to your use of the Website, whether from errors or from omissions in our documents or information, any goods, or services we may offer or from any other use of the Website. This includes your use or reliance on any third-party content, links, comments, or advertisements. Your use of, or reliance on, any information or materials on the Website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.

It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through the Website meet your specific, personal requirements. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4) Use of the Website

a) You must use the Website in accordance with these terms and conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

b) You agree not to:

i) Use the Website for any unlawful purpose;

ii) Impersonate any person or entity;

iii) Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.

c) You acknowledge and agree that the information provided on the Website, including but not limited to pricing, availability, and service details, may be subject to change without notice. EVRide Tasmania reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the services at any time.

5) Confidentiality

EVRide Tasmania does not guarantee that your use of the Website will be confidential. EVRide Tasmania is not responsible for any harm that you or any person may suffer as a result of a breach of confidentiality in respect of your use of the Website.

6) Privacy

EVRide Tasmania is committed to adopting the highest standards to safeguard our customers' personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy which sets out how and why we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.

7) Links to Other Websites

The Website may contain links to other independent third-party websites ("Linked Websites"). These Linked Websites are provided solely as a convenience to our visitors. Linked Websites are not under EVRide Tasmania’s control, and EVRide Tasmania is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of Linked Websites, including any information or materials contained on such Linked Websites. You will need to make your own independent judgment regarding your interaction with these Linked Websites.

8) Booking and Reservation

a) EVRide Tasmania provides online booking services for ground transportation services through the Website. By making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to comply with EVRide Tasmania's booking and cancellation policies, as outlined on the Website.

b) EVRide Tasmania reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking for any reason, including but not limited to unavailability, errors in pricing or service information, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.

c) Your booking will not be confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation email. Please ensure you check all the details of this confirmation and contact us if anything is incorrect or if you haven't received your booking confirmation. EVRide Tasmania will not be held liable for any loss incurred due to incorrect information being provided at the time of booking or insufficient travel time being allocated by the customer that may result in, but is not limited to, the reorganisation of travel.

9) Courtesy Wait Times

a) Airport Arrivals

A 30-minute grace period will be provided for arrivals at Hobart International Airport. The grace period will commence from the actual flight arrival time, not the scheduled arrival time.

b) Non-Airport Arrivals

A 10-minute grace period will be provided.

c) Wait times that exceed the grace period will be charged at $2 per one (1) minute. If additional wait time is required, please let us know at the time of booking and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.

10) Flight Monitoring

EVRide Tasmania will actively monitor your flight arrival time, as per the flight number that has been provided at the time of booking to ensure that your chauffeur arrives on time.

11) Service Terms

a) EVRide Tasmania agrees to provide ground transportation services in accordance with the details specified in the confirmed booking.

b) You agree to adhere to the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Any delays or changes to the itinerary must be communicated to EVRide Tasmania as soon as possible.

c) EVRide Tasmania reserves the right to charge additional fees for changes to the itinerary made after the commencement of services.

12) Vehicle Conditions

a) EVRide Tasmania is committed to providing well-maintained and clean vehicles for your transportation. You agree to treat the vehicle and chauffeur with respect and refrain from any conduct that may cause damage to the vehicle or harm to the chauffeur.

b) Any damage caused to the vehicle or property by you or your party during the provision of services may result in additional charges.

13) Payment

a) The fees for ground transportation services are as specified on the Website or as communicated to you by EVRide Tasmania. Payment is due in accordance with the payment terms outlined on the Website.

b) Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of services.

c) Prices quoted at the time of booking are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of GST. You acknowledge that the quoted price does not include additional fees, including, but not limited to parking.

d) We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Payment is required once your journey has been completed or after a "no show" (except for weddings and special events).

i) Weddings and Special Events

(1) Incur a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance owing payable 14 days prior to the date of your wedding or special event.

(2) There is a minimum hire of 2 hours for all wedding and special event bookings.

ii) Regular Users – Individuals and Corporate Accounts

For individuals or companies that use our services regularly and spend more than $2,000 per month, we provide a discounted rate and 14 days to settle payment upon receipt of the invoice. For more information, please contact us.

iii) Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that your plans may change, and we will make every effort to accommodate our customers, particularly if the cancellation is due to reasons beyond your control. However, if you need to cancel your booking on short notice, we reserve the right to charge a percentage of the agreed fee as follows:

(1) Point-to-Point Transfers, Airport Transfers, and Hourly Bookings

- Over 8 hours of the booked date and time: 0% (full refund)

- Within 4 to 8 hours of the booked date and time: 50%

- Within 2 to 4 hours of the booked date and time: 75%

- Within 2 hours of the booked date and time, or no-show: 100%

(2) Long Distance Transfers outside of Greater Hobart

- Over 8 hours of the booked date and time: 0% (full refund)

- Within 4 to 8 hours of the booked date and time: 50%

- Within 4 hours of the booked date and time, or no-show: 100%

(3) Half-Day & All-Day

- Over 24 hours of the booked date and time: 0% (full refund)

- Within 24 hours of the booked date and time, or no-show: 100%

(4) Weddings and Special Events

- Over 28 days of the booked date and time: 0% (full refund)

- Within 14 to 28 days of the booked date and time: 25%

- Within 7 to 14 days of the booked date and time: 50%

- Within 7 days of the booked date and time: 75%

- Within 48 hours of the booked date and time or no-show: 100%

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us within the appropriate notice period for your service type to avoid a cancellation fee.

iv) Amendments

If you need to amend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible before the scheduled service time and we will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to vehicle availability. You will only be charged an additional fee if you would like to extend the length of your journey or period of hire. Amendments may be denied if it risks delaying another customer's service that has been pre-booked.

v) No Shows

No shows will be charged 100% of the booking, plus any additional costs incurred, which may include, but is not limited to wait time and parking fees. If a customer is unable to locate the Chauffeur for any reason, the customer should call us on 0481 333 001 immediately.

vi) Gratuities

We do not charge gratuities to customers; however, tips may be given to the chauffeur at the customer's discretion.

14) Food

Food may be consumed in our vehicles, provided you have the chauffeur's permission, or it has been agreed to at the time of booking.

15) Alcohol

No alcohol may be consumed in our vehicles, and we will not be held liable for anyone that consumes alcohol in our vehicles or any consequences that may ensue.

16) Lost or Damaged Personal Property

EVRide Tasmania assumes no responsibility for personal property or any other item that is lost, damaged, or misplaced in our vehicles. If an item is found after a journey, EVRide Tasmania will contact the customer and return the item at no extra charge, provided delivery is within Hobart. The driver of our vehicles does have an obligation to deliver lost property within 24 hours of receiving or finding the lost property. In other cases, property may be handed to a police officer at a police station.

17) Vehicle Damage and Soiling

If a customer or members of their party damages, soils or vomits on the interior or exterior of an EVRide Tasmania vehicle, the customer will be required to pay all costs required to restore the vehicle to its pre-hire condition. These costs include, but are not limited to, cleaning, repair, detailing and loss of income if our vehicle has been put out of service.

18) Inappropriate Behaviour

If a customer or members of their party are behaving in a manner that is anti-social or poses a threat to their own safety, the safety of other passengers or that of the Chauffeur, their service will be terminated immediately without a refund and a police report will be submitted if necessary.

19) Health and Safety

In the interest of public safety and accordance with Australian law, the following are not permitted in our vehicles at any times:

- Smoking (including electronic smoking devices).

- Illegal material and substances.

Failure to comply will result in an immediate termination of services without a refund.

20) Animals

We only accept assistance animals or assistance animals in training.

21) Seatbelts

In accordance with Australian law, passengers must wear seatbelts when the vehicle is in motion. If the customer or members of the customer's party fail to correctly wear a seatbelt, the customer who booked the service will be held liable.

22) Unforeseen Circumstances

We are not liable for any loss or delay for circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to:

- Weather conditions

- Traffic delays

- Vehicle breakdown

- Illness

In the event we are unable to fulfil your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to find a substitute vehicle.

23) On-time Performance Guarantee

EVRide Tasmania operates with an ‘on-time or money back' guarantee. If you make a booking and your Chauffeur arrives after the designated time, you will not be charged for your trip.

24) Liability during Transportation

a) EVRide Tasmania is not liable for any personal injuries, property damage, or other losses that may occur during the provision of chauffeur/limo services, unless such damage or injury is a direct result of EVRide Tasmania's negligence.

b) You are responsible for the conduct of all members of your party during the provision of services.

25) Accounts

If you have an account with EVRide Tasmania, you are solely responsible for the cancellation of your account. You can cancel your account at any time via email to

Failure to pay your account will result in your account being terminated. We are not responsible for any loss you suffer because of such termination.

EVRide Tasmania in its sole discretion may terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the service, for any reason, at any such time. Such termination can result in the deactivation or deletion of your account. EVRide Tasmania reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

26) Indemnity

You must indemnify and hold harmless EVRide Tasmania or its employees, independent contractors and agents and keep them indemnified against all loss, actions, proceedings, costs, expenses (including legal fees), claims and damages arising from:

- any breach by you of these Terms of Use; or

- reliance by you on any information obtained through the Website.

27) Applicable Law

The Website (excluding any linked third-party websites) is controlled by EVRide Tasmania. By accessing the Website, you accept that any disputes about the Website or the Content are to be determined by the Courts having jurisdiction in Tasmania.

Although the Website can be accessed throughout Australia and overseas, EVRide Tasmania does not represent that the content of the Website complies with the laws (including the intellectual property laws) of countries outside Australia. If you access the Website from outside Australia, you do this at your own responsibility and are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws in the place where you are located.
